My Pals are Here! Primary Math 6A Teacher Guide is based on the 2021 Singapore syllabus. The printed teacher guide offers a chapter overview, suggested pacing, and the learning objectives and resources needed. The Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract progression is listed for each chapter. Solutions to the Pupil’s Book and Workbook are also included. Twenty-two pages of teacher resources, such as number discs, number cards, number charts, multiplication charts, mixed number cards, improper fraction cards, and length cards, are in the back of the teacher guide.
In the front of the teacher guide is a QR code with a unique access code to activate the Teacher eBook. This is a one-year subscription. The teacher eBook is a replica of the printed teacher guide but with a plethora of added features for the teacher. A clickable icon is included with each lesson, providing access to a detailed lesson plan that can be downloaded for easy reference. The lesson plans can be edited and include 3 sections: lesson introduction, lesson development, and lesson wrap-up. There is a time suggestion for each section. Slide presentations contain daily lesson slides with pages of the Pupil’s Book and teaching notes. Recap! Exercises provide the option to assess learning readiness. Chapter tests are available as Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced, and can be downloaded and printed. Differentiated strategies, enrichment, and extension activities are also included in the lessons. The teacher resources (also available in the printed teacher guide) are available to print in the eBook.
In addition, the teacher guide eBook also has exact replicas of the Pupil’s Book and Workbook. These have auto markings that give the teacher the ability to show and check answers. Icons at the bottom of each page allow parents to highlight and annotate sections. The teacher also will have access to the animated openers, learn videos, and virtual manipulatives. ~ Gina
