Description

Jolly Phonics Activity Book 7 builds on letters and sounds learned in Books 1-6. Use with Jolly Stories Board Book and Jolly Songs & CD (although you can also find the songs on the Jolly Phonics YouTube channel) to introduce sounds for “qu, ou, oi, ue, er, and ar”. Children practice tricky words learned in Book 6 and learn five additional tricky words – “to, are, was, all, and do”. Some activities include placing stickers on the appropriate sound or word, matching, coloring, lowercase handwriting practice, drawing, making gingerbread cookies, and more! An action and short story associated with each sound is also included. Children practice reading 15 words at the end of the book. Over 50 stickers are included. 33 pages. ~ Gina

Jolly Phonics for ages 3 and up uses memorable characters, engaging stories, and catchy songs paired with fun actions to introduce the 42 letter sounds. The colorful books, songs, and physical actions help children engage in all learning paths. Sounds are taught first (before letter names) and in a specific order that allows children to start reading as soon as possible. You can use this program as a precursor to the Jolly Phonics K4 or K5 program or another phonics program. Children ages 3 and up will utilize the Bumper Book, Jolly Stories Board Book Activity Books, DVD, Letter Sound Poster, and Songs Book & CD. There is no teacher’s book at this level. These multisensory materials provide a fun way to give children a jumpstart to reading!
