As parents,
we work hard to protect our children; with the Parent Guide: Keep Thy
Heart you are reminded about the influences sin has and how to guard
your own heart against the enemies’ schemes. Discussion is also included on how
to equip your children to do the same. While not an answer key, this is still a
valuable aspect of the study; it is your own intentional investigation with
helpful discussion-based learning suggestions. Across all the different levels
(primary, junior, youth) each study will have the same Key Scripture Verse and
Key Truth allowing for common group conversation around the provided discussion
question in the parent guide. The Spiritual Growth of your children is a gift
from God. Your job is to create an environment and provide tools, instruction,
and a godly example.
The
day-to-day guidance through scripture may be a new way of experiencing
scripture for you, that draws you deeper into the Word and closer to the heart
of God. Every level of worktext is a personal opportunity for discovery and
reflection. That is why this is NOT an answer key. This is a place where
parents are discovering and reflecting over the same scriptures that their

Keep Thy Heart is a 25-lesson Bible study of Proverbs 4 that takes kids into God’s Word to understand why Scripture calls us to guard our hearts. Each lesson takes just 10–15 minutes and requires no prep.

Thy Heart Bible Study from Not Consumed Ministries teaches students how to protect and guard
the seeds of Christianity so that these good things can take root. Sin is a
dangerous enemy that we all must combat and teaching our children (maybe even reminding
ourselves) of how to guard our hearts is paramount. This study focuses on
Proverbs 4 and draws connections to other scripture throughout the Bible. There
is a study book appropriate for every member of your family, from the primary
level (ages 5-7), junior (ages 8-12), youth (13+), and the parent’s guide.
Scripture references are provided at every level encouraging everyone to open
their own Bibles and study the Word of God. There are 25 days of study, and
these can be done in a way that best suits your family: once a day or once a
