Description

Designed to complement the Student Edition, each chapter in this spiral-bound guide provides an overview, planning guide, and differentiated instruction. A reduced copy of the student pages is included with answers. Assessments are sold separately. The overview gives a quick math background of what was taught in previous levels and explains the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract Singapore approach being taught in the chapter. Each day of teaching is clearly marked and gives you easy-to-follow teacher instruction. STEAM project activities are also included. Each chapter includes between 3-5 lessons and each lesson takes about 1-4 days to complete.

Each chapter begins with a background overview followed by a skills trace, a learning continuum with model problems, as well as an in-depth planning guide.

Core components of this program include a Teacher Edition and Student Edition, one for each semester. The full-color Teacher Editions include lesson plans, reduced student pages with answers, and instructions for using manipulatives. Full-color, consumable Student Editions include the core of the student learning including step-by-step instructions, examples, and practice pages. The Assessment Guide Teacher Edition provides review and tests for both semesters, as well as corresponding answers. The Homeschool Kit includes the Teacher and Student Editions (Volumes A and B) and the Assessment Guide Teacher Edition.

  The Math Fact Fluency Book includes varied problems to build math fluency and conceptual understanding. Convenient Manipulative Kits are available at most grade levels. Also available are the Extra Practice and Homework Books (one for each semester) which provides chapter specific concept practice, journaling exercises, and higher order thinking exercises. Answers are not included, but are available in pdf format upon request.
