Bongo and the other animals from Mushroom Village love to eat cupcakes peacefully. But the hyenas from Deserted Island are lazy and like to steal cupcakes. The hyenas brought their coconut cannons over to Mushroom Village and threatened the animals so they would give up their cupcakes. Bonnie from Mushroom Village thought the best way to stop this hideous act was to put up signs and ban coconut cannons. This didn’t stop the hyenas, though! Bongo saved the island because he kept his coconut cannons and was ready to stand up against the hyenas when they came back. The activities and discussion points in the back of the book talk about our second amendment rights and how important it is to have these rights, along with the importance of being responsible and wise citizens. Softcover. 48 pgs. ~ Gina

Description
BRAVE Books partnered with Dana Loesch to write Paws Off My Cannon, a children's book that teaches kids the importance of the Second Amendment.
In every BRAVE Book, we partner with people of moral integrity to teach complex Christian and Conservative values.
In Dana Loesch's book Paws Off My Cannon,
follow Bongo, a daring and hungry gorilla, who loves eating food,
especially mushroom-shaped cupcakes. But one day, a villainous hyena
shoots a coconut at Bongo and his friend Bonnie. Bonnie is so upset at
this misuse of coconut cannons that she suggests the village ban all
coconut cannons. Bongo thinks that the hyenas are the problem, not the
coconut cannons.
Their
debate splits Mushroom Village, and when the hyenas return, their views
are tested. Will Bongo and Bonnie finally see eye-to-eye or will one
side prevail?

This is the first in the BRAVE Books series. This series is all about the founding of Freedom Island and how animals Bongo, Rebel, Asher, Valor, and Eva become the BRAVE team and fight off evil villains. These wholesome children’s books send biblical and moral messages about unconditional love, loving yourself the way God made you, having a servant’s heart, the wonders of a free market, and much more. Each book is written by a different author, including Missy Robertson, Trent Talbot, Ashley St. Clair, and more. Beautifully illustrated with captivating storylines, each story builds on the previous one. However, you don’t need to read them in order to enjoy the content and understand the moral. After each story, there are activities, discussion questions, and notes from the author about the topic. QR codes take you to short videos that explain the activities. Each story comes with a character sticker and a flag sticker. You can add these stickers to the Freedom Island map that also comes with each book. ~ Gina
