Life is the second of three Sagrada expansions in “The Great Façade” series, and its theme is exploring the journey of life. Issued in 2020, it adds two new modules and contains the following components:
Masterwork Module: 1 masterwork board, 12 masterwork dice, and 2 tool cards—This module adds orange masterwork dice, which can bring challenges to a player’s dice placement, but if they are met, reward additional victory points.
Apprentice Module: 22 Apprentice Cards and 12 Apprentice Window Pattern Cards—Instead of using the original window pattern cards, players choose these instead. Each of these patterns has two special symbols that let players draw an apprentice card when they are covered with a die. These cards give players opportunities to gain action rewards such as re-rolling any number of dice from the draft pool or ignoring dice placement restrictions in the current round.

This Life expansion can be enjoyed both by new players who are ready for more variety as given by the Apprentice Module as well as experienced players looking for a little extra challenge as presented by the Masterwork Module. For 2-4 players with the base game of Sagrada required and a 30–45-minute play time. - Marsha
