Description

Word-A-Melon is a word search and word building memory game that is easy to set up and easy to play. The game comes with 4 large pieces that attach together to resemble a watermelon and 60 letter tiles that resemble seeds. To play, place letter tiles face down on the board. Since the board only has 56 letter spots, you can strategically leave out harder letters like J, X, Q, and Z for an easier game or exclude A, E, S, and T for a harder one. Start by rolling the dice to determine how many seeds you can flip over, then choose your seeds to flip. Then call out the longest word you could make using those letters! Collect the letters you used to make your word, and continue with the next player’s turn. Once all players agree that no words can be made with the remaining tiles, the game ends and the player with the most seeds/tiles wins. The instructions include options for different gameplay options as well. For ages 6+ and 2-4 players.
