Category Description for Level 5 Books

Level 5 builds on what has been learned in the first four levels. Then students will practice learning and reading the different long vowel spellings. A line connecting two or three letters makes it clear that they should be sounded out together. The list of vowel spellings are as follows: a, a_e, ai, ay, eigh, ey, e, e_e, ea, ee, y, ie, ey, I, i_e, igh, y, ie, o, o_e, oa, ow, oe, u, u_e, ue, ew. At the end of the book, there are an additional 56 words without guide pictures under them to offer a reading challenge.

You can purchase the books and flashcards individually or we have a Level 5 Bundle for your convenience and savings!
