motions. Each letter is a lesson, making 26 lessons to complete. After every
four letters, you will stop and have your student sound out CVC words using the
letter guide to remind them of the sounds they have just learned. You will
repeat that cycle until they have reached the end of level 2, having read 55
words! A review page at the back of the book has an additional 48 words without
guide pictures under them to offer a reading challenge. 41 pgs, pb.

Tip: Beginning with uppercase or lowercase is a personal preference – you can
start with either one and find success. That being said, uppercase letters are
easier to recognize and write than lowercase letters, so the publisher
recommends starting there for kids on the younger side.
