Upon
completion of the ABC, See, Hear,
Do: Level 1 – Learn to Read Uppercase Letters, your student is ready to use this
reader to build on the literacy skills introduced. This reader uses CVC words
that were learned in Learn to Read 1 and the words are written with uppercase
letters. The picture guides are included in the reader under each letter to
remind students of the sounds – a very unique feature of this program. Once
they have successfully read the story, cover the pictures guides and have them
try reading the words alone. Your student will enjoy the story about Viv, Gus,
and their cat and will learn a character lesson of kindness that is taught in
the story.
Publisher's Description of ABC See, Hear, Do: Level 1 - ABC Zoo Kids: Cat Can Fix It!
The ABC Zoo Kids series builds on literacy skills introduced in the ABC
See, Hear, Do Learn-to-Read series to help early readers gain confidence
in their reading skills. As a Level One Reader, ABC Zoo Kids: CAT CAN
FIX IT pairs with ABC See, Hear, Do Level One: Learn-to-Read Uppercase
Letters. Once your child has mastered letter sounds, they can practice
blending sounds to form words—and read a complete storybook!
Level
1 teaches all the uppercase letters of the alphabet with sounds and hand
motions. Each letter is a lesson, making 26 lessons to complete. After every
four letters, you will stop and have your student sound out CVC words using the
letter guide to remind them of the sounds they have just learned. You will
repeat that cycle until they have reached the end of level 1, having read 55
words!
You
can purchase the books and flashcards individually or we have a Level 1 Bundle for your
convenience and savings!
