A not-so-well-known document that the men on the Mayflower
charted upon landing in the New World indicates the importance of unified and
established governances. This document sowed the seeds of democracy in the new
colonies. The Mayflower Compact is not a document I was familiar with, but it
is one that held such great importance for the longevity and success of the
colony when they arrived. Take advantage of the glossary and wonderful
