This 72-ton colossus, armed with a 12.8cm Pak 44 L/55 gun, could destroy any armored enemy vehicle from a huge distance, becoming a real nightmare for the Allies.
Although it was extremely powerful, its weight and mobility issues meant that it rarely appeared on the battlefield. Only about 80 Jagdtigers were produced, and only two German battalions used them. Most of them were lost due to mechanical failures or abandonment by their crews.
