I love everything about this Bible curriculum! It works well in a variety of contexts – homeschool, weekly co-op, Sunday school, etc. It’s steeped in theology, yet easy for kids to understand – beautifully organized and user-friendly, yet flexible with discussion questions, hands-on activities, and craft ideas for each lesson. Content is broken down into 6 books which are stored nicely in a colorful, sturdy, 6-volume box with lid. Book divisions are as follows:
- Book 1: Pentateuch (Stories 1-20)
- Book 2: History (Stories 21-36)
- Book 3: Poetry & Prophets (Stories 37-52)
- Book 4: Gospels (Stories 53-84)
- Book 5: Acts, Epistles & Revelation (Stories 85-104)
- Book 6: Coloring & Activity Book
Each lesson’s suggested enrichment activities are divided by grade level – K-2 and 3-5. Coloring pages and activity sheets from Book 6 are also available as free PDF downloads on the website, along with a free short video for each lesson. Although based on the bestselling Biggest Story Bible Storybook (083417) by Kevin DeYoung, it is not required to use this curriculum. Children will clearly see the gospel woven through all of scripture and understand God’s gift of Jesus.
