Publisher's Description of Hands On Recorder Book with Red Canto Recorder

Includes the red Canto Soprano Recorder and best-selling recorder method book Hands On Recorder by Gerald and Sonya Burakoff.

Category Description for Canto Recorder, Recorder Books And Cds

A no-frills, step-by-step introduction to the recorder for the beginner. These books feature plenty of illustrations and clearly laid out instructions. The books include plenty of beginner songs arranged by level of difficulty. The Hands On Recorder book contains forty-six songs and the Recorder Time book contains thirty-seven. Because the instructional material and twelve songs are duplicated in each book, I would not recommend buying both. Consult our website for a complete listing of the songs in each book. Also available are accompaniment CD's, each containing twenty-six instrumental accompaniments that go along with the songs in each book. A fingering chart is included in the back of each book and a Canto (Soprano) Recorder (in your choice of five colors - see below) accompanies each one. ~ Megan
