All About Spelling Level 1 Material Set Color Edition (2023) includes a Teacher’s Manual and Student Packet with Activity Book Zip Into Spelling (over 200 pages). To get started with AAS, you will also need to purchase a set of Letter Tiles and a Review Box with Divider Cards inside. These items are a one-time purchase used with all levels of AAS. Level 1 covers short vowels, consonants, beginning and ending consonant blends, consonant teams NG and NK, double consonants, compound words, plurals, and open syllables. Lessons include review, new teaching, using letter tiles to build words, writing words on paper, dictation, and other activities.

Advanced Application sections give older students who need more of a challenge the opportunity to engage in new concepts with higher-level, multisyllable words.

Each level also has custom stickers corresponding to the hero characters for that level. Full-color pull-out posters with spelling rules feature the hero character from each level. A “Progress Chart” and “Certificate of Completion” are also included.

All About Spelling Level 1 has been revised for 2023 and is now the Color Edition! A brand new Student Activity Book is now available which includes fun reinforcement activities for students. This is now included as part of the Materials Set or Student Packet. The Teacher's Manual Color Edition has been greatly expanded with additional teaching material for each lesson.

The Materials Set contains the Teacher’s Manual, Student Packet, and Activity Book. The scripted Teacher’s Manuals are open-and-go and include teaching tips and recommended activities for each step. Student Packets contain flashcards, stickers, and other resources needed for the program. Activity Book includes over 200 pages of varied activities and word banks. To get started with the program, you need to purchase the Letter Tiles Kit and Review Box.
