Each comprehensive full-year course is based on a flexible 32-week schedule with embedded daily assignments that include engaging reading from a DIVE Internet Textbook, expert video lectures, interactive worksheets and digital flashcards, step-by-step video solutions, virtual lab videos, a printable Lab Manual, weekly quizzes & quarterly exams, and auto grading and recording of all assignments. All material lays a strong Christian foundation with a young-earth, creation viewpoint and Scripture throughout.

During the Video Lessons, which are taught on a digital blackboard, students take notes and work interactively. An excellent digital Textbook is included with every course (except Earth Science) and features engaging graphics and videos. Those who prefer a traditional hard copy textbook can use one from Dr. Shormann’s recommended list (which includes Abeka, BJU, Apologia, and more). A specific course syllabus has been designed for each physical textbook on the list, making the correlation easy.

The Lab portion of each course can be completed virtually with videos or in-person with hands-on materials (most courses have a corresponding lab kit available as separate purchase). Lab Manuals are printable and video solutions for labs help ensure concepts are understood.

Although courses provide all instruction & grading, parents need to monitor progress and ensure assignments are completed as instructed. The Teacher Guides included offer everything needed for the course to run smoothly, including setup instructions, tips for lessons and labs, grading information, modification for learning issues, reading supplement suggestions, and more. Parents do have the ability to change grades and reset assignments as needed. Q & A support is always available with Dr. Shormann.
