Description

We write to communicate and grammar is a tool to enhance and strengthen that communication. This completely digital course contains two main course components: digital teaching videos (available to stream on multiple platforms) and PDF lecture notes and quizzes for each lesson. Students will watch the 41 short video lectures and use the included PDF notes and quizzes. Streaming and PDF access is a 12-month license. The course instructor, Jonathan Rogers, PhD, has a wealth of experience as a teacher and a writer (author of the Wilderking Trilogy and The World According to Narnia). Dr. Rogers guides students systematically through identifying grammar concepts, finding errors, and implementing corrections. Students will learn to apply traditional grammar concepts, but also apply more stylistic aspects such as clause patterns, active/passive voice, non-essential elements, and more. For an Internet-free option, select one of the preprinted course materials per student and the still-available DVD Instruction instead.

This streaming access includes the hub of the course: 41 short teaching videos (available to stream on multiple platforms). Then, for each lesson, PDF lecture notes and quizzes are available. Access is a 12-month license. While this course can be used for multiple students in one family, classroom licenses are available from Classical Academic Press. For an Internet-free option, select one of the preprinted course materials per student and the still-available DVD Instruction instead. ~ Ruth
