Make history come ALIVE for your children! Designed to go
along with The
Story of the World Volume 3: Early Modern Times Text, this Activity
Book provides a rich assortment of multi-sensory activities to complement
and enrich readings from the Text. Together, the Activity Book and Text make a
complete, well-rounded one-year history/geography homeschool curriculum that
kids won’t soon forget!
The book is divided into 2 sections: an easy-to-use
teacher’s guide with activities organized chapter by chapter in the front and
consumable student pages in the back. After reading the history text, turn to
the corresponding chapter of the Activity Book, choosing activities that best
fit the ages, personalities, and learning styles of your children. You might
hold a Japanese tea ceremony, act out sumo wrestling, make your own Mayflower
Compact, or cook 17th-century succotash. The Ottoman miniature
paintings are especially fun! Consumable Student Pages are
photocopiable within a family, but you can always purchase another set for
convenience. 497 pgs. sc.
