Description

For the longest time I used my fingers for simple math. If your student is also working hard toward mastery of single-digit addition and subtraction, AIM may be the tool. Using proven Math-U-See® strategies and manipulatives, this program is free of unnecessary elements or childish design, zooming in on fundamentals. Go at the student's own pace (6-8 weeks typically) to meet the goal: success and retention. Students are ready for AIM if they can count backward from 9 by ones and two's and recall addition facts for adding zero and one to single digits. In addition, Demme® provides a verbal assessment to evaluate student's ability to recall basic addition and subtraction facts.

Recently updated, with more teaching support like enhanced instructions and video lessons, mastery review, post addition and subtraction assessments and more to help children master these vital math skills. The Kit includes a Resource Guide (with lesson instruction); the MUS Integer blocks; MUS colored pencils (colors align to rods); Fact Strategy posters ( 8.5" x 11") and Check Cards; and lifetime digital access (includes overview and lesson videos, solutions and additional practice resources). ~ Ruth
