The Curious Historian Level 1 is the first part in a 4-level series that presents the study of history and culture from the beginnings of civilization (Mesopotamia and Egypt) through the Scientific and Industrial Revolutions of the modern world. The Curious Historian is a chronological world history program from Classical Academic Press that strives to foster virtue and wisdom in students while guiding them to understand the world we live in. Each year of the 3-level series includes two semester-long textbooks. Books 1A through 3A are available now; with Level 3B to follow.

Level 1 covers the Ancient World (3200- 1600BC). Level 2 covers the Classical World (1600-500BC). Level 3 covers up through the Middle Ages.
