The topic of animals is such a good way to get kids engaged in reading! Intermixed with real photos and interesting text are Seuss-inspired illustrations. Animals are grouped by themes: African animals, arctic animals, desert animals, farm animals, etc. There is a page on climate change where they keep it general and say that animals are affected, without assigning blame. It did not feel agenda-driven to me. The book is hardcover and designed to be handled by young readers! ~Sara
