Description

My First Numbers from Generations is an open-and-go, fun and colorful math program for a young child’s first introduction into math. Beginning with numbers and colors, My First Numbers also teaches basic geometry shapes and fractions, patterns, place value, and simple addition/subtraction and introduces time and money. The text is colorful with fill-in worksheets for the student. Some writing lines and numbered coloring pages may be small for budding writers; you may wish to use ½-¾" lined (or grid) paper. The course includes 91 lessons, with a suggested pace of 3 lessons per week. The course is flexible, and parents should move at their child’s pace. The Text includes a variety of reproducible manipulatives in the back of the book. A certificate of completion is also included. You will need to supply household items for the suggested Math Toolbox: pencil, paper, dice, crayons, ruler, play dough, measuring cups, kitchen scale, and bathroom scale. Consumable, not reproducible.

Publisher's Description of My First Numbers: Introduction to Math Level K

In this workbook, Generations introduces God’s Numbers in language that little ones can understand.

Mom or Dad only needs to read the explanations out loud and help with the instructions. We call it "God's Math” because God really is the inventor and source of all knowledge about His world!

The goal of the course is to fully engage the student using fun, math-oriented activities and games, making relevant applications of early math for the home and front yard, and connecting math to God’s amazing creation. Our intent is to make math meaningful and exciting from the very beginning!
