Bustling through modern day Berlin, the wheels bring you to the zoo or Tiergarten for an escape to nature with its lush oasis of trees, open meadows and quiet places to enjoy a book. Do not miss the Pergamon Museum, which exhibits artefacts from areas of ancient Babylon, Egypt and other ancient sites. No matter where you travel in Berlin, Streetcars and Subway Cars can transport you there.
In this small box version of Ticket to Ride, players build both subway and streetcar routes to various cities and attractions in Berlin with the goal of completing routes and destination tickets to score the most points and win the game!
Each person starts with a set of subway cars and streetcars
in their player color, two transportation cards, and two destination tickets.
The board contains routes between destinations and indicates what type of car and
which color transportation card players can use for each route which are links
between two adjoining cities. Some neutral (grey) routes are built in any one
color.
On each turn, a player can choose to draw transportation cards, destination tickets or claim a route using their transportation cards and cars to build it. Claiming a route earns immediate points based on the type and number of cars there are in it. Destination tickets show two locations in Berlin that players must connect through continuous routes and a game-end point value if completed. When any player has two or less car pieces left in their supply and after one final round, the game ends. Players add completed destination ticket points to their existing scores and subtract uncompleted ticket values from their score. The player with the most points wins! For 2-4 players with a 10 to 15-minute game time.
