Read about the life of George Muller, who turned from his cheating and thieving ways to follow Jesus an ended up becoming a missionary and starting an orphanage
Short book with some easy-to-read sentences and some pages with big blocks of text. Ideal for kids and parents to read together
This
small-format short biography on George Muller teaches kids that we can trust
God because He provides for us. George Muller used to be a cheater and a thief,
always looking for ways to get money, until he met Jesus and his life was
changed. He later became a missionary and started an orphanage! Although
marketed to younger readers, a better plan may be for younger readers to study with
a parent or teacher. For each page spread, one page has short, easy-to-read
text and a large illustration, but the opposite pages have quite big blocks of
text that would likely be difficult for a beginning reader. A parent may choose
to read the long section and then let the child try the shorter section.
Colorful illustrations abound throughout. 24 pgs, pb.
