Depending on player count, you may play with just two decks or all four, and the number of cards that qualifies a match also fluctuates based on player count. To play, deal five cards to each player and place the rest in the middle. Players take turns calling out different cards they need to make a match with cards already in their hand. This helps students learn and connect different information: for example, they learn that Olympia, Washington is a match with the Evergreen State. When all cards have been matched, the player with the most matches wins. While each card highlights a specific piece of information, all four facts are present on each card for reference. This educational card game is a great way to review state facts in a low-pressure way while also having fun with friends and family. Of course, you could easily use these as flashcards too!
