There are 36 lessons in this workbook. Each list has 20 words written in cursive. In levels G & H, lessons jump right into spelling tips and offering strategies and clues for learning the words, instead of starting with an informative reading selection as in levels A–F. A “Did you Know?” etymology section exposes student to word origins and word histories while increasing vocabulary. Each lesson begins with activities that center on vocabulary development, dictionary skills, and word analysis. The activity pages give students the opportunity to practice words in different contexts. Ten additional bonus words are given at the end of each lesson, more challenging words with similar spelling patterns. Lessons 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, and 36 are review lessons, covering materials from the lessons prior.
