There are 36 lessons in this workbook. The first five lessons cover sounds and letters for A–Z. In lessons 6–18, there are six list words in each lesson, and in lessons 19–36 there are eight list words in each lesson. Each lesson starts with a small paragraph to read that includes some words from the spelling list. Spelling tips follow and offer strategies and clues for learning the words. Spelling practice pages give students an opportunity to trace letters and fill in missing letters. The activity pages give students the chance to practice words in context. Lessons 13, 19, 25, 31, and 36 are review lessons, covering material from the lessons prior. The end of the student book includes a comprehensive dictionary of all the words used in this level, plus some bonus words.
