Description

Make exploring career options fun and easy! Ken Coleman, as part of Dave Ramsey Education, will walk your teen through 4 stages to help them stand out in the job market. The goal is to discover a career they love through a variety of questions: What are you good at? What is your passion? What motivates you?

As your student finds a career topic, they will then learn how to get there, considering practical points such as money, flexibility, benefits, work environment, location, in/outside, etc. They will look at several paths to achieve their goal, explore industries, and determine what training is needed at what cost and for how long.

As a fully digital course, you will receive a voucher code email with instructions to activate the content within 1-2 business days. Each access is for 1 student only, and multiple students (codes purchased separately) can be accessed by one parent account. Access is for 1 calendar year. You could potentially count this as a full-year high school elective credit if you can document 120 hours learning and researching careers. More than likely, this will be a semester credit if you can document 60 hours spent. A good companion course would be Foundations in Entrepreneurship. ~Sara
