Beginning with an overview of the themes of world history and early civilizations, students study Ancient Egypt, Ancient Israel, Ancient India, Ancient China, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, Mesoamerica, and Ancient Africa. Religions are explored from Sumerian polytheism and Ancient Egyptian polytheism to early Israelite history, the tabernacle and Judaism. Hinduism and Buddhism, Greek and Roman gods and goddesses, Christianity, and Aztec gods are also introduced.
