Description

This volume contains complete units for three-chapter books and accompanying lessons. The units cover Social Studies, Science, Language Arts, Fine Arts, and Life Skills. You will need to add math and grammar, spelling, and possibly handwriting. Each unit has a Sample Lesson Planning Sheet to show you how to organize your studies for two weeks of a sample unit. The lessons are flexible so you can pick and choose the lessons that best fit the needs of your student. Many families average two chapters per week, but each book varies, and some may take longer. You can choose to have your child read independently or do as a read aloud. Chapter books include Neil Armstrong: Young Flyer, Marie Curie and the Discovery of Radium, and Hitty: Her First Hundred Years. ~ Gina
