Piece together your own Dornier Do 17 with this 1,383-piece COBI building block set! Part of COBI’s World War II Historical Collection, this set contains all the blocks needed to build the German bomber.
The Dornier Do 17 was a German light bomber that was used throughout WWII. It saw the bulk of its service from 1939 to 1941 as it helped Germany quickly defeat France and Poland, and it was also deployed during the Battle of Britain and Operation Barbarossa. Despite its early effectiveness and being loved by its crews because of its good handling, the Do 17 was eventually phased out in favor of the more modern Junkers Ju 88. However, the Do 17 continued to be used as a glider tug and trainer aircraft. The bomber could carry a payload of up to 2,205 lbs, achieve a top speed of 220 mph, and featured six 7.92mm machine guns.
This 1:32 scale model features detachable wheels, adjustable wing flaps, and an opening bomb bay. It also comes with two minifigures. Perfect for military and aviation enthusiasts ages 8+, this set brings the Do 17 to life in incredible detail! Dimensions are 19.3” long, 22.6” wide, and 5.1” high. ~Alex
