Description
A science & art kit the whole family will LOVE! This sturdy storage box transforms into a solar oven that you can bake snacks in! Experiment with solar charged activities, making some neat keepsakes while you’re at it! This kit includes an instruction/explanation book (in English, French, & Spanish), modeling clay, 8 large wax crayons, 2 bottles of food coloring, magnifying glass, small paint canvas, mini funnel cutout, black and white squeeze bottles, balloons, sundial sticker sheet, clear straw, wax paper, & pair of rubber gloves. Please note that some projects in this kit DO require additional items (besides sun) that may not be common in every household. To do all the activities, you’ll need to provide:
- 1 bottle of cola
- Sugar
- Vinegar
- Baking soda
- 1 pkg candy- Nerds, Mentos, or Pop Rocks
- 4 ice cubes
- 4 sheets of colored paper (white, yellow, red, & black)
- Snack that needs to be melted (s’mores are suggested)
- Rocks or heavy weights
- Paper plate (or paper sheet)
- Shallow dish with sides
