These captivating Level E Student Workbooks feature stories about significant American history events, making practicing spelling fun and engaging. Each of the 36 lessons is divided into five parts, A through E, and includes two or four facing pages that are designed to be completed in 15 to 20 minutes. Each day begins with a Daily Huddle between the student and instructor. Each day the instructor reads the passage together with the student, as it is important for students to hear the words while looking at them. Students will also “chunk” the appropriate letter patterns indicated for that day’s lesson and have opportunities for copywork and writing from dictation throughout the week. The American Spirit Student Workbooks provide an effective and enjoyable way to support your student's spelling journey and progress through the stages of development.

Drawn from America's history and people, passages in this level increase gradually in reading difficulty. Resources include the Passages, an Answer Key, a Glossary, a Bibliography, and an Index of Topics. Please note that the Universal Set is no longer sold - please see #SYSERV for the equivalent set.
