stories that make practicing spelling fun and engaging. Each of the 36
lessons is divided into five parts, A through E, and includes two or
four facing pages that are designed to be completed in 15 to 20 minutes.
Each day begins with a Daily Huddle between the student and instructor.
Students will also “chunk” the appropriate letter patterns indicated
for that day’s lesson and have opportunities for copywork and writing
from dictation throughout the week. Through these activities, your
student will experience vocabulary development while learning about
American history and culture in a rich historical and cultural context.
The Americana Student Workbooks are ideal for instructors who already have the Instructor’s Handbook and need the accompanying student materials.
