Instructions are simple and no additional materials are necessary to use this gentle math supplement. Every other page is a multiplication table to complete, helping your student memorize their multiplication facts. The logic puzzles are simple, complete-the-picture or sequence types. Some are code-breakers. A calculator may be used to do simple multiplication problems like 1x6, 1x11, 1x50, 2x0, 2x2, 2x11, etc. I think these would make for good math warm-up activities prior to using your math curriculum. The book may be too repetitive for some students because of the extra multiplication tables. Use the blank multiplication tables until the child can fill it out effortlessly, and then return to the book in the future to sharpen the skill. This is an excellent approach for students who are resistant to, or cannot memorize facts, with flash cards. Includes logic and problem solving, creative thinking, art, and other activities as well.

Uses a Dyslexia-friendly font to help with letter reversal and reading confusion.
