Description
Have you ever desired that your children learn more than one subject
at a time? How about learning World Geography through handwriting?
His Story Handwriting™ and Memory Master Books™ makes this possible.
Your children can learn to print while learning about World Geography.
This book is an excellent resource for learning and practicing print
as well as doing copywork. While your students learn and practice
printing their letters and numbers, they will also be learning about
World Geography. You can also use the facts in this book as a
memorization tool.
Exploring Handwriting Through World Geography is strategically designed to make your student successful. At the beginning of the book the student masters their print by tracing the facts provided. Then the book gradually removes tracing so your student can successfully write independently using the correct sized writing lines provided in the book.
GREAT VALUE: Our books have more pages upon which to practice print and copywork than any handwriting book we have ever seen. This makes our books, page for page, less expensive than any other handwriting or copywork books on the market and with much more content for the student to explore.
Fill in the blank with Scripture, Science, or U.S. Geography. Each book in the Exploring Handwriting Through series begins with individual letter instruction and practice of upper- and lower-case letters.
Lessons begin with a page of vocabulary words needed to
understand the text. The vocabulary alone is worth using as a supplement to
your school day. Students are shown a line of text (with a top, bottom, and
midline), and they write their version directly below each word. They have to
mimic the spacing as well as the lettering. Each sentence can take between 2-4
lines, and some of the words in the student lines are dotted for tracing (even
at the cursive level). You can pull words of your choice for a
spelling/vocabulary test at the end of the week, or have the kids incorporate
the content into a writing/journal assignment.
You don’t have to be studying astronomy in science class to use the astronomy handwriting book – it can be a complementary topic and add some variety. The publisher recommends 15-20 minutes per day, or 15-30 minutes 3 times a week. All books are spiral bound and printed on both sides of the page. They are not reproducible. The more expensive books have 396 pp, and the smaller books have 112 pp. 8.5" x 11". ~Sara
