Description

Piece together your own Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A3 with this 382-piece COBI building block set! Part of COBI’s World War II Historical Collection, this set contains all of the blocks needed to construct the German fighter.

The Fw 190 is a German fighter aircraft used during WWII between 1941 and 1945 and was one of the best fighters of the war. It served many roles, including uses as a day fighter, fighter-bomber, ground-attack plane, and sometimes as a night fighter. Fw 190s were well-liked by their pilots, due in part to their excellent maneuverability and a turn radius that was bested only by the British Spitfire Mk V. The Fw 190 featured two 13mm MG 131 machine guns as well as four 20mm cannons. It was capable of achieving a top speed of just over 400mph and could carry either one bomb under its fuselage or four bombs under its wings.

This 1:32 scale model features a rotating propeller, moveable wing flaps, a cockpit that opens, and wheels that both roll and fold up into the body of the plane. A pilot minifigure and display stand are also included. Perfect for aviation and military enthusiasts ages 7+, this set brings the IL-2 to life in incredible detail! The Focke-Wulf Fw190 A-3 was a single-engine, single-seat German fighter aircraft from World War II. The A-3 version was produced beginning in the spring of 1942 and was characterized by the use of the more powerful BMW 801 D-2 engine and the first use of supplementary Umrüst-Bausätze underslung armament sets.

The Focke-Wulf Fw190 A-3 aircraft model, built of COBI construction blocks, is a faithfully reproduced 1:32 scale low-wing aircraft from World War II. The model offers many movable elements such as a rotating propeller, movable wing ailerons and wheels with rubber tires that can be folded to a horizontal position. Reproduced details and historic colors of the aircraft are photo realistic. The cockpit can be opened to place the German ace-inspired pilot figure in the seat. Thanks to a special display stand with a plate containing the name of the plane and a place to attach the figure the whole set looks great! The model also features durable prints and historical markings.

The set complements the collection of planes from the Second World War, intended for enthusiasts of history, military technology and fans of the highest quality block modeling!
