Description

The Abeka Science 5 Homeschool Curriculum Lesson Plans provide daily lesson plans for 27 weeks (130 lessons), Scope and Sequence, an outline for each lesson, and suggestions for introducing and reviewing information, teaching tips, homework assignments, and enrichment ideas. It also provides opportunities for developing critical thinking skills through discussion of the text, analysis of photos/illustrations, and application of Bible verses. It also includes direction for when to complete correlating activities from the Investigating God’s World STEM Activities. It also provides lessons for Grade 5 Art and Music. (Books sold separately).

Note that parents are encouraged to pair Abeka Science with Abeka’s 5th grade Enjoying Good Health course (8 weeks) for a full year of Science/Health education. See the Abeka Health description for more information.

Bonus feature is a 170-day lesson plan for activity time, found in the back. This is a suggested schedule for a 25-minute daily Activity Time. This allows one day each week for Library, Spelling Bee combined with Classic Story, Music Theory, and Art.
