Description

Take game night to the next level with this clever “mash up” of two classic games. The goal is to accumulate the most cash and property before the last Scrabble tile is played. Opening the game board gives insights into how the game is played. Along the board edge is a slightly modified monopoly board, while the center section displays a traditional scrabble board. Play is straightforward. Each player takes a turn forming a word and playing it. If their word covers one or more property spaces, they take these properties from the bank or another player. Before the play ends, players add up their word’s points to move their monopoly piece the same number of spaces and follow the instructions or pay rent (if owned). Various other rules are included to aid players in building scrabble words, passing go/free parking money collection, or going to jail. These are all simplified rules of the original game. Offering a bit of luck and strategy, this fun twist is sure to be a game night winner, whether a monopoly lover or hater! Best of all, game play is one hour or less! Includes 9 classic monopoly tokens, wooden scrabble tiles and rack, game board, unique monopoly money and Community Choice/Chance cards, and instructions. For 2-4 players. ~Deanne
