Product Benefits

* Character-building truths. As your child reads stories about Ted and his red hen or Kate and her pet ducks, he will learn the value of Christian character traits such as cleanliness, friendship, and thankfulness.

* Focus on phonics. Before each story, consonants will be introduced with images of small flashcards such as "F" as in "Fox", while the vowel for the story will be introduced in blends such as "a" as in "fa". Challenging sounds are noted with an opportunity to practice them in small phrases from the story. Your child can approach the story feeling confident and prepared as he learns to read step by step.

* Coloring fun! Your child can celebrate reading the story by coloring the page at the end of each one.

* Reading comprehension and review. Know that your child understands! Each story is followed by an exercise such as matching sentences with pictures, reading words and phrases from the story, or marking true statements about animals.
