the Romans called “Our Sea” because it was completely surrounded by the Roman
Empire. These ships were controlled by both wind and human power, with large
sails and dozens of oars. This set includes a display stand and three
minifigures, one of which is the famous emperor Marcus Aurelius. Dimensions are
22.4” long, 14” high, and 11” wide. ~Alex
Publisher's Description of COBI Roman Warship - 1810 pieces (Imperium Romanum)
Our Sea (Mare Nostrum), as it was called by the Romans. This is because the Mediterranean Sea was the internal sea of the Roman Empire. Dominion over it was ensured by ships powered by human muscle power and sails. For centuries, galleys and liburnians glided majestically across the sea, guarding order! Build a beautiful block warship of the emperor himself and display it on the base! See how many details there are here. Put on colorful sails and rigging. The set includes three figures. Emperor Marcus Aurelius (Marcus Aurelius Antoninus), a senator and a Roman general have a lot of prints and details! There is also a legion banner with a golden eagle on the ship. No army can do without it! Once built, the warship looks majestic and will certainly attract the attention of anyone who sees it!
If standing on a shelf is not what you expect from blocks, we have a solution for that! Add other sets from the Roman Empire collection to the ship and complete the crew of Roman legionaries. Using gladiator and barbarian figures, stage a fight and shoot the ship with a catapult. The scenario of the conflict depends only on your imagination! Build history, piece by piece, with COBI!
COBI’s Imperium Romanum collection lets you immerse yourself
in the world of the ancient Romans! Build your own replicas of military
equipment and vehicles, construct a training ground for your gladiators,
collect minifigures, and more. COBI brick sets range from minifigure sets and
simple builds to larger, more complex models. There’s something here for
everyone! ~Alex
