Complete the rainy-day craft box with a large variety of flat wood shapes. Each shape is quite thin (about 1mm or about 1/32 inch) which means they are light enough to be used in costume decorating and paper crafts. These shapes are a great addition for planner page markers, scrap-booking, or party favor crafts. The wood is unfinished so they will take acrylic paints and any tacky glue very well. When using pens or markers, test first to prevent feathering or leave them unfinished. The wood can be varnished or sealed with any spray or paint clear coat sealer.
These wooden shapes are made for craft applications. Please consider the "splinter factor" when allowing small hands to play with the wood. Though the surface is sanded smooth, they are not designed for food or candy consumption; not food-safe. Some of the smaller pieces could also pose as a choking hazard. Recommended for children ages 6 or older.
The wood assortment contains a variety of flat shapes: Squares, Stars, Hearts, Tears/Petals, Triangles, and Circles. The shapes come in an assortment of sizes from small, medium, and large. The smallest shapes measure 1/2 - 3/4 inches (12.7-19 mm) on the shortest side, and the largest measures up to 2.25 inches (5.7 cm) at the longest side.
