I cannot recommend this game highly enough! It contains all of the fun of the Sequence series of games and in the process of playing it your children will learn the shapes of states along with their capitals We have never had to "drill and kill" state capital information because of this fun game We've enjoyed it for several years now and are still playing it

Memorizing state capitals is one of those questions for which I don't have a great answer if and when I'm ever asked "When am I ever going to use this?" ("Uh for Thursday's quiz?") As far as learning goes if it's not functional it better be fun That's where Sequence comes in Sequence is a great strategy game and the fact that the cards and board force kids to match state and capital reinforces memorization and Sequence (in any form) is really fun A perfect choice if you're learning about the states
