Make history come ALIVE for your children! Designed to go along with The Story of the World Volume 1: Ancient Times Text, this Activity Book provides a rich assortment of multi-sensory activities to complement and enrich readings from the Text. Together, the Activity Book and Text make a complete, well-rounded one-year ancient history/geography homeschool curriculum that kids won’t soon forget!
The activity book is divided into 2 sections: an easy-to-use teacher’s guide with activities organized chapter-by-chapter in the front and consumable student pages in the back. After reading the history text, turn to the corresponding chapter in the activity book, choosing what best fits the ages, personalities, and learning styles of your children. Learning about Rome? You might wear a Roman toga, assemble a crown of leaves, construct a salt-dough map of Italy, make a mosaic, eat honeyed dates, play the included Caesar game, and more! Consumable Student Pages are photocopiable within a family, but you can also purchase another set for convenience. 305 pgs. sc.
