Product Description:

These are not what you think of when you see "bells;" these look more like individual xylophone pieces. The set contains 8 notes in a rainbow of colors, and they produce delightful, melodious sounds. The bells are contained in a yellow carrying case with a handle, which also holds the two included mallets. Leave the set in the case to play or remove it into different configurations or split it up between children.

Publisher Description:

8-note resonator bells in a unique attache case. Bells can be removed from case and held in hand by multiple players. Includes mallets.

This is a quality instrument at a very low price. I'm excited to use this instrument for the accompaniments in Nine-Note Recorder Method.

Are these in tune and do they have a good tone?
A shopper on Mar 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, they have a good tone. I think they are in tune - they sound the same when matched against another glockenspiel and a set of tuning forks.

Success with making music
This resonator bell set is excellent quality with a pleasing tone. Children can play the simple accompaniments in the Nine-Note Recorder Method (2018) with these chime bells. Set out the bell or two that is needed with the low note on the left and the higher note on the right; when played in this way, no wrong notes will be hit by accident. The combination of these resonator bells with recorder and/or voice is wonderful. You can't beat this price, either.
