I like this
I do like this. It works if you are reformed, but I don't think it would if you are not.

Good for older kids
My son uses this book alongside our Bible study, and I like the variety it offers. There are verses to copy, crossword puzzles and fill in the blank, thought-provoking questions, and places for him to take notes or draw his own pictures. We don't use every single thing on every page, but I like the different methods used to reinforce key Biblical principles that are helping to develop his Biblical worldview.

I thought it would be a good extra resource to use with the textbook. My son seems to engage better when he has something to write in. It makes him feel more a part of the lesson.

We use Mystery of History and we really like how it ties everything to God and the Bible. Looking forward to learning and delving deeper into God and His Word alongside my children.

We did the "Who Am I" and was really impressed.

A real meaty Bible curriculum that my 11 year old can dive into mostly on her own. I was amazed how hard that was to find! She's a few weeks in and I'm very pleased. If you can afford the notebook, go for it.

my kids go to public school and have a lot of opposing ideas thrown at them. I want them to know why we believe what we do. I want them to have an answer for the kids and to learn to think for themselves. that is why I got all three. I have three kids.

Our family found this series to be a wonderful family devotion. Not only are we sharing the reading, but also each others answers to questions (from individual prospective) and pictures drawn or colored from the notebook.

I already have the book and like it. It seemed like the notebook would be useful for keeping track of the assignments better.

Which grade level is this notebook for?
A shopper on May 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I would say about 4th through 6th grade. Of course, it depends on how well your child is writing independently. Here are some differences between this level and the corresponding Junior Notebooking Journal.
~The crossword puzzles in this book have about 20 clues/words each, while there are only about 10 in the Junior Notebooking Journal.
~Likewise, word find puzzles contain about 20 words for this level and only 8 for the Junior version.
~There are only coloring pages in the Junior book--none in this one.
~For the most part, the verses used for copywork in the Junior version are about a dozen words long. (They get a little longer toward the end of the book.) They are about twice as long in this older level. Also, the Junior book has the dotted line that you would see on kindergarten or 1st grade handwriting pages.
~"Words to Know" in the Junior book are fill-in-the-blank format (with the needed words listed as choices at the bottom of the page), while the student using this older level would need to write out definitions for each word.
~This older level also has several questions that would require a written response throughout each lesson. It looks like the coloring pages replace these in the Junior version.
~Both levels have the mini-books. Those appeal to all ages. (Even moms!)
