Wow!
I purchased this to accompany Mystery of History, volume 1. Looking through it, it is exactly what I needed and expected.

These aesthetically pleasing pictures are printed on sturdy white cardstock and several pictures are printed per each page They come to life nicely when colored with quality colored pencils I have found this Timeline Set very handy to utilize with Mystery of History Volume 1 instead of having to create our own timeline figures They are well worth the money for the time saved! I plan on purchasing this particular brand of timeline pictures in correspondence with the successive Mystery of History volumes Plus for those who are inclined to make the curriculum more advanced there are actually many extra pictures included of significant historical figures that are not covered in the chapters of Mystery of History As we began our second year of homeschooling it was so handy to pull out the timeline and review the studies of last year before we continued our study of history I was quite pleased that ALL of my kids could remember ALL of what we studied last year with these memorable pictures This set is perfect for making very attractive and useful timeline!

We are using this History through the Ages packet along with The Mystery of History: Vol 1 The illustrations are beautiful and my daughter enjoys using her colored pencils to to fill them in while we discuss the various figures from history I was lucky to find teaching wall pockets at our local store and the timelines from this packet fit perfectly We have them lined up along our schoolroom wall to display what we are learning History through the Ages simplifies the work involved in creating a teaching timeline from scratch allowing us more time to work on other projects And they are beautiful!

I thought that purchasing timeline figures for our Ancient History study was unnecessary We were perfectly capable of producing our own figures thank you very much But within a few weeks it became clear that we simply wouldn't have time to draw pictures for every event we needed to include The "History Through the Ages: Creation to Christ" pack was an ideal solution The figures include people and events from both secular and Biblical history which can be cut out and colored or used in black and white They work well in notebook or wall chart formats We have thoroughly enjoyed placing them on the timeline in our living room Sometimes I even catch the children (ages 5 and 10) browsing the timeline and commenting on our studies outside of school time The images are reproducible for individual family use and hold up well to resizing

I choose this to go along with Mystery of History I & II. This product should make the timeline work neater, more compact, quicker and clearer to understand. EDIT DELETE

Artistically done & will really enhance our study. Great visual reminder of the order of historical events. Using cardstock to create an accordion fold time line with figures. This is space conscious & can be stretched out to full length to gain perspective on when events occurred in time & relative to other events. Planning on gluing the beginning of the timeline on a thick book type front page and once complete will glue an end page. This will create an keepsake album for future reference.

It was the most inexpensive time line that i can find. I also liked all the picture of different people we can look into while we do our history course.

A worthwhile tool for putting historical events and people in order, not just memorizing dates. We use these timeline sets with Mystery of History. While this set corresponds to Volume 1, we have used other sets in the series with all four volumes of MOH. They are nice images, easy for children to color, and save us time with not drawing every historical figure. Our children cut them apart and glue them into a "Book of the Centuries" since we do not have space for a large wall timeline.

We are currently studying world history, using "The Mystery of History" vol.1. My son likes the idea of a time line through history, but is to old (12yr ) for the cute "make your own figures". This fills the gap quite nicely.
