This is one of the best resources we've found It is clear that the author has worked with gifted young mathematicans and understands what makes them tick The real-world problems are exciting and the book offers enough to keep a kid busy for a long time It doesn't provide a lot of instruction so it won't be a good stand-alone core curriculum or for use by a parent who is unprepared to teach math It is fantastic though for kids who have already mastered the basics and would like to go further and deeper

This book will help my grandson move beyond the often boring classroom curriculum he now uses. I want him to continue to enjoy math.

Hoagies Gifted Education recommended several titles by Edward Zaccaro and expanding mathematical reasoning and skills with our pushing children to simply progress more quickly to the calculus track.
