Bible 7: Story of the Old Testament Student Activities Manual 1st Edition
The Story of the Old Testament (1st Edition) Student Activities Manual introduces students to a simple Bible Study Method: Observe (what the text says), Interpret (what the text means), and Apply (what the text means for life). As an integral part of the course, students will begin to learn some basic observation skills as they complete their Scripture reading assignments while a Prayer Journal guides them to pray scripturally and specifically. Additionally, Scripture memory verses reinforce the lessons they have learned.
Teaches an overview of the Old Testament and how this applies to the New Testament. Instruction is also provided in hermeneutics and Biblical theology. The Home School Kit includes the Student Worktext, Activity Manual and Key, Tests and Key, and Teacher’s Edition.
This revised edition for 2012 focuses on Christ, including his life and ministry. It shows how He dealt with both friends and enemies and covers His character, example, major experiences, sermons, relationships, miracles, and parables. The revised teacher's edition includes a supplementary materials CD.
Secondary level materials are serious Bible study, covering the entire Bible over the course of the series. Essential materials are the Teacher Editions and Student Worktexts.
A complete Bible curriculum at every level, with daily lesson plans, student materials, visuals, and (at some levels) accompanying music tape. All but the K4 level have a consumable student worktext. Required materials are listed first under each grade level. An asterisk (*) proceeding the item means it is optional. Complete Home School kits contain all essential materials to teach one child. Optional materials are useful to the course, but not vital. Teacher Picture Packets (grades K5-1) contain full-color 12" x 18" pictures correlated to lessons in the course.
