Needed some run of the mill writing and grammar program for my kids this year. Bought more than one grade again. Not wanting to do any unit study or lots of literature added program as we have found they are distracting and not effective in the last 17 years. Just straight writing and grammar. BJUP workbooks/ worktexts are good for this and they are easy to take in the car for days out around town. We have had good success with these for many years.

My 8th grader is doing a great writing curriculum, but I feel he needs a little more practice going back to basics. BJU is a publisher we've bought from before, and they are wonderfully laid out for an independent learner.

This is a good program, teaching writing right along with the grammar, giving the student immediate practice, and also varying the writing activities. The lesson plans are all very well laid out for the teacher in the TE.
